Mask 2

The National Mask Museum in the City of San Luis Potosí holds a very unique collection of masks from all of Mexico to promote our traditions and to preserve our folkloric knowledge, our historical past and its projection to the present and the future.

You can arrange a guided tour by phone or email and through your local travel office. When in San Luis Potosí, visit the National Mask Museum, it’s well worth the trip. Open all week long.

PERFECT FOR SUNDAY

Today was an a-typical Sunday in the sense that I did everything that I always do but finished really early, around 10:15, so I went ahead and lit up the firewood, cleaned the grill and I put up steak and garlic bread, cucumbers and bell peppers on the fire for some Sunday brunch goodness. Now, yesterday I was craving a really delicious dessert so I made a pumpkin pie realising I had all the ingredients, I know it may sound like a very ordinary thing to do, it probably is… the good thing that happened here is that I made two and I let them sit for about 30 minutes after the oven and then I refrigerated them all night; today they were just perfect.

It was indeed the perfect thing for this particular day.

Major dilemma

I just think there is great work in corporate branding, specially packaging… I may not agree with all of their practices but I like attention to details.

What is Always The Same?

re-think

I would like to emphatically express what I consider of the upmost importance: the fact that you should always look for alternative solutions to every problem; parallel resolutions should be considered and with time the practice becomes second nature. I firmly believe that several lines of attack help our brain develop skills that are useful in everyday living.

Never comform, Never give up.

Neverending…

silos

I am currently in the process of organising sketches and plans from my older projects, a few of my paintings and some sculptures I have yet to finish, not to mention a stack of furniture designs that we haven’t finished due to a lack of time…TIME, that is always the problem in this day and age.
As I rifled through my photo box ( yes I have a box where I keep them and the negatives, remember those? ) I came across the image you see above. Wouldn’t it be grand if we could split ourselves into three individuals, each handling a part of life: personal-professional-social. (robots would be fine too.)
We have movies that are made as trilogies, females that go to the bathroom in groups of three, and nature even gives us a triple thread when it comes to natural dissasters.

Now, work seems to be the my best friend right now but I can’t seem to make it work under the rule of three, it’s always six or eleven: when things are right it’s so good, but when things are not so good, they ARE NOT so good. So this is a two-for deal, because I know I get a lot of shit done, but a little extra time wouldn’t hurt, or two other ME’s.

Anyway the picture of the three silos in the mountains of Chihuahua reminded me that I need to get going or my life will take a nose dive that I cannot afford right now…

So, If you are looking for an architect with new Ideas and a flare for finding the newness and hotness every time, give me a call or e-mail and we’ll see how we can tend to your needs, see what new and exciting trendy stuff we can accomplish.

( excuse me for the self promotion here… )
